Western grey plantain-eater (Crinifer piscator) and Rock Hyrax (Procavia capensis)

I tried to snap these western grey plantain eaters (turacos), I was blessed with the Rock hyrax

This picture was taken in the Amurum forest reserve, AP Leventis Ornithological Research Institute, Jos, Nigeria.


Up in the tree are two western grey plantain-eater (Crinifer piscator) from the Turaco group, below them by the right is the Rock Hyrax which scientists say it’s much closely related to the elephant.

A detailed write-up suitable for Wildlife Education on the the two species will soon follow. Watch out for it.
